Apple has launched its new MacBook MacBook Air 2025. The new MacBook Air now comes with the company's 10-core M4 chipset, which was first introduced in the iPad Pro (2024). The MacBook Air (2025) has been launched in 13-inch and 15-inch Liquid Retina display variants and comes with 16GB of RAM. It can be configured with up to 2TB of SSD storage option. This latest MacBook runs on macOS Sequoia and supports Apple Intelligence.
MacBook Air (2025) price and availability in India
The MacBook Air (2025) starts at Rs 99,900 in India for the base model with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The 15-inch MacBook Air (2025) starts at Rs 1,24,900. Apple's new MacBook Air is available for pre-order and will go on sale in India starting March 12. The laptop will be available in four colours including Midnight, Silver, Sky Blue, and Starlight.

The MacBook Air (2025) features a 13-inch (2,560×1,664 pixels) and a 15-inch (2,880×1,864 pixels) Super Retina display. It has a pixel density of 224ppi and supports peak brightness of up to 500 nits. The new MacBook Air now supports two external displays at up to 6K resolution (when the laptop is open).
Apple has given the M4 chip in the MacBook Air (2025), which includes a 10-core CPU (four performance cores and four efficiency cores). It supports 16-core Neural Engine, 8-core GPU and hardware accelerated ray tracing.

Apart from this, the MacBook Air (2025) has a Touch ID button, which allows unlocking the device and authenticating payments. It also has a Force Touch trackpad, which supports Force Click and Multi-Touch gestures. It has a 1080p FaceTime camera, which supports Center Stage and Desk View features.
Battery and charging
The 13-inch MacBook Air has a 53.8Wh lithium-polymer battery, which supports 70W fast charging. However, the base model comes with a 30W USB Type-C charger. At the same time, the 15-inch variant gets a 66.5Wh battery. According to Apple, the new MacBook Air (2025) is capable of backing up up to 15 hours of web browsing and up to 18 hours of video playback (via the Apple TV app).
